Looking for the best way to cook salmon in the oven? Look no further than this baked lemon pepper salmon!
Mix minced garlic, black pepper, lemon juice, melted butter or olive oil, salt, and lemon zest. Place salmon fillets in a cast iron pan or on a baking sheet and pour the sauce over them, spreading it evenly.
Add thin lemon slices on top of each fillet and season with extra black pepper, lemon zest, or salt if desired and bake.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice and sides like quinoa, rice, or green veggies.
