Air Fryer Apples

These air fryer apples are the perfect Fall snack, healthy dessert or addition to your breakfast. They're ready in 15 minutes, made with just a few simple ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup.

Total: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples I like honeycrisp
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • teaspoon cloves
  • teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Peel and dice the apples and to a mixing bowl.
  • Melt the butter in a small dish, then whisk in the maple syrup, vanilla, spices and salt.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of the mixture to the apples and toss to combine.
  • Air fry at 370 for 10 minutes. At the halfway point, toss with 1 more tablespoon of the maple mixture.
  • When done, toss with the remaining maple mixture.
  • Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or top of your favorite pancakes. Enjoy!

Notes

For a vegan version, swap the butter for dairy free butter or refined coconut oil.
