These air fryer peaches are the perfect quick and easy summer dessert! With maple, cinnamon and brown sugar, these peaches are perfect served over vanilla ice cream for a healthier 15 minute dessert!

I’m a dessert every night type of girl, but some nights I want something healthier and need something easy. Enter: these perfectly sweet air fryer peaches. The ultimate weeknight dessert, but I also love serving them over some greek yogurt and granola for an easy, high protein breakfast option.

All you need for this recipe are some ripe peaches, butter (just a little), brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Simply, pantry staple ingredients and you have the perfect solution for your late night sweet tooth. Top them off with your favorite gluten free granola, crushed graham crackers or some chopped nuts- anything goes!

Quick tips

  • You can use either all maple syrup or all brown sugar as your sweetener if you prefer. I just love the flavor that using a bit of both yields!
  • I do not recommend using frozen or canned peaches here. Either option will have too much moisture and they will become very mushy in the air fryer.

How to make air fryer peaches

Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray with oil spray.

Slice your peaches in half, then cut each half in 2-3 pieces- discard the pit. For smaller peaches, I just sliced each half in half, but for larger ones, I sliced each half into 3 pieces.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and salt.

Add the peaches to the bowl and toss well to combine. Add the peaches to the air fryer and and cook for 10-12 minutes- depending on size and how soft you like them.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, crushed graham crackers and an additional sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon if desired. Enjoy and try my gluten free peach and strawberry cobbler next!

Serving suggestions

I love having these air fryer peaches just with some vanilla ice cream as a simple, quick and lighter dessert. It kind of has a peach crisp flavor but without the hassle and with far fewer ingredients! You can also try them with oatmeal, on top of my gluten free waffles or oat flour pancakes.

Ingredient swaps

Peaches. You can’t have air fryer peaches without peaches! The key here is that you want to use ripe peaches that aren’t overly ripe and mushy. Just ripe enough that they are naturally sweeter but still have a somewhat firm texture- they will soften a lot as they cook. It’s also a lot easier to remove the pit on a ripe peach than an unripe one!

Maple syrup. I think maple syrup works best here and it pairs really well with the cinnamon and vanilla, but you can certainly use honey, coconut sugar or extra brown sugar if that’s what you have.

Butter. I love the richness of flavor that butter adds and it gives more of that peach crisp or pie flavor, but you can swap for coconut oil if you want a dairy free option. I don’t recommend olive oil here.

Spices. I just used cinnamon, but a little bit of nutmeg or even some ginger would be delicious here. Feel free to get creative!

Oven instructions

Obviously this recipe is designed to be made in the air fryer, but if you don’t have one, you can absolutely make in your oven! First, preheat your oven to 375 Fahrenheit. Next, slice your peaches as usual and mix together all ingredients for the maple sauce. Toss the peaches with the sauce until well combined.

Add everything to a greased 9×9 baking dish and bake, uncovered, for about 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are fork tender.

How to store

Once prepared, these peaches will store in the fridge for about 3 days. You can make a double batch, keep them in the fridge, then reheat when you’re ready to serve or even just enjoy them cold!
